In the early 1980's many of our brothers and sisters in the Lord came from Cambodia seeking a new life of freedom and security in Canada. Through sponsorship by our church some of them became part of our congregation and eventually established their own church where they are able to worship the Lord in their own language. These services are held at First Church every Sunday. We are happy and grateful to God that they have found a place and a home in Canada and in St. Thomas. The Cambodian community consists of about 70 people.
